Dear Parents,
Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! I trust all is well with you and hope that you have had the best summer imaginable!!!! Hopefully you took some time to connect with family and friends as well. Now it is time to look forward to the start of a brand-new school year.
Your administration team has been here all summer preparing for the new school year. We are most thankful for our custodial staff as they worked all summer getting our school in immaculate shape. Also, a big thank you to our school secretary, Ms. Bryant for working hard to ensure a smooth start for students, families and staff.
Daniel Jenkins Academy is a very unique place where students can grow and learn. We are proud of our students. We strive to ensure that we provide a safe nurturing environment where our students can not only thrive but feel valued and accepted.
We encourage our families to stay connected with the school. These types of healthy home to school relationships can lead to less discipline issues by the student, better attendance by the student as well as increased student achievement. Parents let's partner with each other and stay connected so that your student can continue to grow emotionally, socially and academically while here at DJA.
